Yes, indeed has it really been 4 years since this??
Because to me, it feels just like yesterday.

Thanks to an email today with this lady we walked down
memory lane together. Her brother (Will) graduated from MSU
this past weekend and sat in the same section we did
on our special day, so of course we had to walk down memory lane.

And I love where I am right now in life, but it certainly is
fun to be able to look back down memory lane
and see how far each of us has come. 

Yes it has been four years since we all have gradated from here
the greatest place on earth, Mississippi State. 

And trust me not a day goes by when I do not wish that I 
could have a coffee date at the bakery, be talking
with Mrs. Donna in the SA Office, have a Delegate
office hour, and of course have the
chance to walk across the Drill Field.... I can say
that the Lord is ever so faithful. I took away a degree
from MSU, but more than that I took away life experience
and some INCREDIBLE friendships.

We have already been through Weddings, new
jobs, promotions, and of course moving to new cities.
More so I know that there are only more life
curve balls ahead that each of us never expected.

Somehow though nothing has changed between these people
that I love dearly....our friendships have only gotten stronger.


And While we have football seasons to reunite us 
there is nothing like a random email or a phone call to 
connect us all back together. 

Beyond that though I know that my life has still been touched
by having these precious friends in my life. And although
we are beyond the walls of MSU, their influence on my
life is ever present. 

While it has already been only 4 years we have already
seen the changes in each other, and know that the Lord already
has more changes ahead for each of us. 

However I know that I have been blessed with incredible 
memories and sweet friendships. 

I certainly never would have told you I would be where I am in
life, but that is the funny thing about life, only the Big Man
knows what is truly going to happen. 
So as the years go by..... I can honestly tell you 
some things just never get old or go away. I still laugh, cry, and 
celebrate over the these precious 4 years. 
And I have learned that true friendships never fade and
only get better with time and even across states. 

And of course that reunions make for even great memories

To celebrations ahead, moves, and life changes...
may the Lord continue to bless the years ahead. 

We certainly are all still big kids in my eyes.......

Meet my 5th Graders

Well today was my last day with these bunch of kiddos. :)

This was my group of 5th graders that 
I have been with 
all year at Restoration Academy. 
I have had my 
share of long division, spelling, and multiplication
work all this year. 


Who knew I would get to go back
and remember Greatest Common Factor trees. 
They have probably taught me more than I have
been able to help them with their studies.

While I have loved this class so much 
(they are a super energetic bunch) I have had one 
special friend that I have bonded with 
ALL year long!!
My sweet Trevion 
He is a bundle of fun and is one of the most
ENERGETIC children, needless to say
he cannot sit still for more than 2 minutes.
This is the fun face I get to see each week.....
He for sure brings joy into my life and has
helped me with my patience. :)

It sure has been a fun filled year and I cannot believe
that the year together with this group is already over.

I fell in LOVE at first sight with them
and then eyelet print just made me love it even more.

Out and About in Bham

Well last week our Sunday School class headed 
down to the Barons game to watch our own
Birmingham Barons take on the MS Braves

we of course picked the one night it would be in the 40's to
go to a baseball game, but it was so much fun. 

Lindsey and I of course had to support Babe Ruff

Barons vs. Mississippi Braves

and then the fun only continued as we had a night
out at Workplay.
Workplay has to be one of my all time favorite places 
in Birmingham. If you have not been you need to 
make plans to go to a concert sometime soon. 

Megan, Erin, and I got dressed up for our 
night at Workplay

Mustard Seeds

Well I am so happy to be able to blog about 
a store that I have
loved before I even knew the owners or were able to call 
them dear friends as well.  Really...I have always 
wore and had Mustard Seeds products since I was in 
Elementary school and it was not until a few years
ago I made the connection that Janice was one of the 
owners. Talk about a small world. 

Mustard Seeds has now officially opened a store
in the Patton Creek shopping center in Hoover
right next door to Zoe's.


They have the best gift ideas and all of their designs feature
encouraging scripture. 

And of course they are also known for their t-shirts...
There are so many cute designs to choose from I know it
will be hard for many of you decide. I am in love with 
all of the bright colors for summer. 

And of course there is even a MSU representation amongst
the Auburn and Alabama designs. 
"hear the bells ringing they are singing" 

The store is just precious and I hope those who live in the
Birmingham area will be able to come by and support.

The Grand Opening is THIS Saturday
Hours from 10:00 to 5:00.

All He asks is that we have faith the size of a Mustard Seed and

Look Out SEC

So last week we had our Conference Ending game for kickball
and let me just say it was an intense game.....

We played a team called CraneWorks 
(Local Birmingham construction company) and they were
intimidating to say the least....but that did not stop us.
This is their cooler....enough said. Included was a large
speaker system and a GPS. Really....yes really.

Our team rallied together and held on strong and 

WON!!!!
OH yes we won 3 to 2 and could not be more excited
Just Kickin It after our win 
And we were Conference Champs #1 in our league
and going in as a #1 seed to the playoffs.

So bring it on....kickball gets to keep going!!!!

And of course the 3 of us were the MVP's of the game...haha
Well we love to have fun together for sure.
